Expirify respects your privacy. The app is designed to work primarily offline and does not require user registration.

Data stored on your device

Information you add to Expirify, including product names, expiration dates, categories, notes, and other app data, is stored locally on your device. Expirify does not upload this information to our servers and does not provide cloud synchronization.

Accounts and personal information

Expirify does not require an account and does not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other account information.

Advertising and analytics

The current version of Expirify does not contain advertising and does not use analytics or tracking services.

Open Food Facts

Expirify contains a local product database. If a product cannot be found locally, the app may send a product lookup request to Open Food Facts to retrieve publicly available product information.

The request may contain a product identifier, such as a barcode, together with technical information normally transmitted during an internet request. Information received from Open Food Facts is used solely to display product details inside Expirify.

Open Food Facts is an independent third-party service. Its handling of requests is governed by its own terms and privacy practices.

Data sharing

Expirify does not sell user data or share locally stored Expirify data with advertisers or other third parties. The only external communication currently performed by the app is the product lookup described above.

Data retention and deletion

Because Expirify data is stored locally on your device, it remains there until you delete the relevant information, clear the app's data, or uninstall the application. We do not maintain a remote copy of this data.

Security

Expirify does not maintain user accounts or a cloud database, so your Expirify data is not stored on our servers.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated if Expirify's functionality or data practices change. The latest version will always be available on this page.
